Hi, I'm Mai-Ling, pronounced May-Ling. I'm 29 years old, work full time, and don't have any kids. I'm not sure if i want any or not, but i guess that's God's decision isn't it? I'm Chinese and Puerto Rican, or China-rican for short. I have two brothers, 28 yrs old and 6 yrs old. I guess my mom got tired of waiting for me to have one. : ) I love the History and Discovery channels, yes i'm a dork, but a fun one.

What kind of person are you interested in meeting?
I guess i'm just looking for someone to talk to and have fun. I'm tired of meeting guys that are involved and just want to have fun. I need someone for me, i'm not into sharing. I love to laugh, so a good sense of humor is a must. I like a guy who knows what he wants and goes for it. I need confidence and understanding. Holla!

My mother. She's one of the strongest women i know. She's my mom, my everything.

Pernil, rice and beans, tostones, pastelillos, and chinese food.

There's just too much to list here. Some of my favorite movies are Super Troopers, Old School, Last of the Mohicans, Young Guns 1 & 2, Goodfellas, Godfather Movies, and many many more. I do love to read, and i'd have to say that James Patterson and Parretti, (i think that's how it's spelled) they are my favorite authors. Music is another great love of mine. I love latin music, hip hop, rap, r&b, and DISCO! I told you i was a dork.

What type of work do you do? Do you enjoy it?
I'm currently working for M&T Bank in their Lending Services division. I like my job, it's fast paced, and although rutine, can be stressful.

What do you enjoy doing for fun?
I like to read, play video games, watch TV/Movies, play cards, and darts. I'm mostly a home body. It's too expensive sometimes.

What do you hate doing?
I hate being in uncomfortable clothes. Don't get me wrong, i can dress up. Sometimes I get a little introverted in new situations. But like anyone, it takes time to warm up to people and places.

Tell about where you grew up or where you are from.
I grew up and currently live in Buffalo, NY. I love it here. It's full of history and promise. A lot of people don't agree with me, but i have faith in Buffalo and hope that it can return to the way it was.

Do you have pets? Tell about them.
Yes, I have one dog. My Scooby Doo. He's a jack russel terrier and poodle mix. So he's a handful. He's very protective of me.

What would you say is your best virtue?
I'm honest to a fault sometimes.

What was the most daring / wild thing you have ever done?
Ummm...not really daring, but pretty stupid. My friend and I got drunk in Canada and ended up passing out on the police station lawn. : ) Safety and stupidity.

If you were on a deserted island, and you could choose 3 items to take, what would they be?
Waterproof matches, tarp, and wind up radio. OR, I would bring my ipod, the Bible, and cards.

I don't know exactly who, but my ancestors. I want to know our history.
